Our 2-story beachfront building with two large homes, one on each floor. Each has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, a dining room and a big patio a few steps from the sand.

The area

Leave the car parked. Everything you need for a beach holiday is a short walk away, and our favourite spots are in the house book waiting for you.

Paddle the bay

Take our free kayaks or stand-up paddleboard out on the calm water: paddle to the beach bar, The Cove restaurant, or around to the Phuket Aquarium. Longtail boats can also pick you up right from the beach.

Eat & drink

About 12 restaurants within walking distance. Don't miss @ The Beach: a toes-in-the-sand beach bar with cold drinks and good, cheap food, a minute's walk along the sand.

Massage

Massage shops line the road in both directions. Our favourite, Chill Chill Massage, is about a 4-minute walk and can also come to you.

Everyday needs

A 7-Eleven, a second convenience store, a pharmacy and ATMs are all close by. Big supermarkets like Makro, Big C and Lotus's are a short drive.

Get around

A motorbike and car rental shop sits at the top of the driveway, with a taxi stand a few steps away. Taxi vans for up to 10 people with luggage are easy to arrange.

Island trips

Hire a private longtail boat to Ko He (Coral Island) for snorkeling, water sports and one of the best beaches in the area. Boat tours can be booked at the shops on our driveway.

Close-by adventures

Ride the quiet jungle road up to Khao Khad Viewpoint Tower, cool off at Ton Ao Yon Waterfall's swimming hole, or walk or kayak to the little cave and food carts on the next beach.

Eat like a local

Sakol Laber, just past the 7-Eleven, serves authentic Thai food with air-conditioning (try the khao soi). In the evening, head to Cape Panwa Viewpoint for Thai street food, then eat on the boardwalk by the sea.

Further afield

Phuket's street markets (Naka, Chillva and the Old Town Walking Street), authentic Thai at Pork Leg Restaurant, and fine dining at Blue Elephant in the old Governor's mansion.

At dusk in some months, look up: hundreds of giant fruit bats ("flying foxes", with wings up to 1.5 m) glide over the bay on their way to feed.

Is it really cheaper to book here?

Yes. Our own booking site is 10% cheaper than Airbnb, Booking.com or Trip.com for the same apartment and dates.

How does payment work?

You pay 50% when you book. The balance is charged automatically to the same card 45 days before arrival, and you'll get a reminder first. If you book within 45 days of arrival, you pay in full.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancel more than 45 days before arrival for a full refund. Cancellations 45 days or less before arrival are not refunded, so we recommend travel insurance.

Is the beach safe for children?

Ao Yon is a protected bay with calm, warm water and small waves all year, so it is great for families. We also have free kayaks, a stand-up paddleboard, life jackets and beach toys.

How far is it from Phuket Airport?

About 1 hour by car. The easiest option when you land is an official airport taxi from the curb. For bigger groups, taxi vans hold up to 10 people with luggage. If you're renting a car for your whole stay, picking it up at the airport is easy and saves the taxi fare.

Is there parking?

Yes. There's a private driveway to your front door and reserved guest parking.

Can I drink the tap water?

Like everywhere in Thailand, tap water is for showering, washing up and brushing teeth. Use bottled drinking water for drinking and cooking.

What if we need a doctor?

Bangkok Hospital Phuket, a modern private hospital with short waits, is about a 30-minute drive. Vachira Phuket, the government hospital, is about 25 minutes away. In an emergency, dial 1669 for an ambulance or 1155 for the Tourist Police.

Which apartment is best for a family?

The Sandcastle homes (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen) and the Queen's Castle Penthouse (2 bedrooms, sleeps 7) are ideal. Couples love Units 1A, 1B and 1C.

Are pets or smoking allowed?

Sorry, no pets. Smoking and vaping are allowed outdoors only.
